Happy New Year! After over twelve years in California, it was nice to not have to travel this past Christmas. The weeks have been flying by since we moved back to the Puget Sound area.
Heidi and I are excited to invite you to our installation service as the new Lead Pastors of New Life Church in Everett.
For nearly twelve weeks we have been serving as “Interim Lead Pastors”, but this past weekend the church made the following announcement: “As your Pastoral & Leadership Team, it is with joy and anticipation that we stand in agreement with the decision of Dave Edler, our district supervisor, to officially appoint Matt and Heidi Messner as the Co-Pastors of New Life Church. This will take place on Sunday, January 15 in both services with Foursquare President Randy Remington present to install them to this ministry assignment. Thank you for your prayers and support.”

These special services take place this Sunday at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow each service.
If you are currently not participating in a local church or haven’t “come back” to one since the pandemic, then we want to warmly invite you to join us as we begin this new journey. We look forward to reconnecting with old friends while also making new ones. This event seemed like a natural way to reconnect with some of you.
Our goal in this new role is to serve this congregation, staff and community, for the purpose of making disciples while proclaiming the Good News.
